Belarusian students open work semester

Belarusian students have solemnly opened the labour semester. The ceremony at the National Flag Square in Minsk featured student teams and activists of the movement. The young people were given «tours» in the «working summer». They will work in construction, medical and pedagogical teams not only in Belarus, but also abroad – in Russia and Poland. In the future students may also work in Kazakhstan and Moldova. This year, the Belarusian student's labour unions have turned 55. Symbolically, an orchard featuring the same number of apple trees has been planted at the Historical and Cultural Complex «Stalin Line».
