The Belarusian Space Congress kicks off today in Minsk. Over a span of three days this large-scale forum, which is the seventh in a row, brings together more than four hundred scientists from all over the world. The arrival of Belarusian cosmonauts and a large delegation from the Roskosmos corporation is expected. The plenary reports and sections will discuss space exploration, development of space vehicles and navigation systems, use of the latest technological advancements in the economy. The exhibition of space technologies will also be put on. The current meeting precedes an even larger forum as next year Minsk will host the International Space Congress.
