Belarusian scientists are ready to work more closely with various sectors of the economy. Scientific and technical programs are planned for several years ahead. Therefore, it is important that representatives of the real sector also cooperate with scientists. This was said by the First Deputy Chairman of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergei Chizhik. He also mentioned the priority directions for scientific research in the coming years. Today, one third of NAS employees are young people. The government plans to expand the staff of NAS, increase its budget, and raise young scientists’ salaries.
