A young Belarusian scientist intends to participate in an international project to prepare for flights into deep space. The SIRIUS experiment will be carried out by the Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Belarusian scientists will discuss technical cooperation with colleagues from Russia at the space congress in Minsk. The participants will study the psychological aspects and human working capacities during a simulated flight to the moon. It is planned that the expedition will begin on March 1, 2019. The crew will spend 4 months in isolation at the Terrestrial Experiment Facility. In addition to Belarus, applications for participation were filed by the United States, France, India, Russia.
