Belarusian school education gets good ranking in international PISA study

For the first time, Belarus took part in the PISA international student assessment program and showed a good result. 15-year-old students from 236 educational institutions took part in the remote testing. The children had to take tests in three areas, including mathematics, reading comprehension and natural sciences. As a result, Belarus finished ahead of Israel, Luxembourg, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece, Slovakia. The winners in this competency were Chinese students. Singapore is in the second place, followed by Estonia and Canada.
