Belarusian rescuers help fight forest fires in Latvia

Belarusian rescuers have been participating in fighting forest fires in the Baltic states for several days together with the crews of the Armed Forces of Latvia and Lithuania. Now it’s very hot in the region. Air temperature rose up to 34 degrees centigrade. The aid was sent to Latvia on the instruction of the head of state Alexander Lukashenko. Our rescuers have a lot of experience in fighting wildfires. The air crew of the Ministry of Emergency Situations helped to cope with the wildfires in Russia, Greece, Turkey and Georgia.
