The Belarusian Orthodox Church celebrates the date of its self-determination and acquisition of a separate, independent structure. The history of Orthodoxy in our lands, which counts more than 1030 years, has found a new round of development. In the 90s of the last century the revival of the Belarusian Orthodox Church began. At that time there were only four dioceses in its structure. Today the Belarusian Exarchate has 15 dioceses, 36 monasteries and about 2.000 churches. The main achievement of the past three and a half decades was the people who returned to the temple. Today the Orthodox denomination is the most numerous in Belarus.
