Belarus selects its "Teacher of the Year"

The national final stage of the "Teacher of the Year of Belarus" contest has brought together dynamic and proactive educators. 63 teachers — 23 men and 40 women — are competing in the final. The average age is 35; the oldest participant is 52, and the youngest is 24. Winners will be selected across nine categories, including two new ones introduced this year: "Young Teacher" and "Young Principal". The jury comprises distinguished educators, with the panel chaired by the first "People's Teacher of Belarus". A nearly 10-day marathon of challenges lies ahead for the contestants. The name of the "Teacher of the Year of Belarus 2026" will be announced on 2 October. The grand prize for the super-final is a car.
