Belarusian experience in combating human trafficking presented in New York

The Belarusian experience in combating human trafficking was presented at the World Economic Forum by the vice-speaker of the Council of the Republic. Marianna Schetkina took part in the general high-level discussion of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, as well as in the second day of the Sustainable Development Summit. During the roundtable on combating slavery, information was provided on Belarus' efforts in this area and the country's contribution to the international efforts to combat trafficking. The Sustainable Development Summit took place in New York. Belarus was invited for the first time.
