Belarusian dentists expand use of stem cells in treating periodontal diseases

Belarusian dentists will expand the use of stem cells in treating periodontal diseases. In association with the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences, they have developed a technology for producing a biotransplant based on stem cells, as well as the technology for their collection, production and cultivation. The new method has been registered, the Ministry of Health has introduced instructions on its use in practical health care. The treatment results have proved to be effective.
