Belarusian cuisine presented at food festival in France

Belarusian cuisine premiered at one of the best food festivals in France. The event in Mougins brought together about 100 chefs from many different countries. The Belarusians offered both traditional draniks (potato pancakes) and kholodnik (cold beet-root soup) and sophisticated old-time recipes with unusual sauces featuring oak bark and lime tree flowers. The efforts by Belarusian chefs were highly appreciated, bringing them invitations to a number of forthcoming food festivals.
