Belarusian Catholics preparing to celebrate Easter

The Catholics continue to celebrate the Triduum; these are three important days before Easter, when the suffering of Christ, his crucifixion and resurrection from the dead are remembered. Today, Christians mark Good Friday, the most mournful day recalling the passion of Christ. This day presupposes strict fasting. Catholics are the first Christians to celebrate Easter. Families of believers are preparing for the holiday: they clean houses, bake rolls, and paint eggs. Tomorrow in the churches of Belarus it will be possible to consecrate Easter food.
