Belarusian Catholics celebrating Christmas

Catholics in Belarus and all over the world celebrated Christmas. Today, the Octave of Christmas has begun for believers as eight special days, when services are held across the churches in memory of the great martyrs and apostles. For believers, this is a time of special spiritual joy. These days, people give each other gifts and exchange visits. Christmas celebrations continues after the end of the Octave until the Epiphany, which in the Roman Catholic calendar is celebrated on the Sunday after January 1.
