The operation on the heart of the highest degree of complexity was performed by Belarusian doctors. A large tumor of the right atrium was removed at the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology. This is a new achievement of Belarusian doctors and another challenge that has been successfully accepted. The task was not easy — to get rid of the large neoplasm. Instead of the traditional extensive incision, a minimally invasive method was used. Importantly the doctors performed all the manipulations on a working heart. Doctors note that such operations occupy one of the top positions among cardiac surgical interventions.
