Belarusian border guards marking professional holiday

On March 28, the Belarusian border guards are marking their professional holiday. President congratulated the commanders, personnel and veterans of the forces. Since the beginning of the year, border guards have seized almost 3 kilograms of drugs and psychotropic substances, and also detained 68 violators of the state border. Illegal transfer of valuables worth of over BYN 1 million have been revealed. Solemn events will be held throughout the country. Traditionally, on the Border Guard Day, officers will lay flowers at the monument on Victory Square in Minsk, and then they will visit the Island of Courage and Sorrow to honor the memory of warriors-internationalists.
