Belarus will increase the purchase of modern medications to treat hepatitis C twofold. Minsk is hosting the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Regional Consultation on Expanding Access to Affordable and Quality Assured Antiretroviral and Antituberculosis medicines. Taking part in the forum are healthcare ministers, representatives of drug procurement authorities and watchdogs regulating the pharmaceutical market from 15 countries. Belarus was selected the forum’s host not by chance, the country is one of the leaders in the accessibility of medical services to the population.
