Belarus, United States sign agreements to combat drug trafficking in Minsk

Belarus and the United States intend to enhance cooperation in combating drug trafficking. The memorandums of cooperation were signed today in Minsk between the State Border Committee, the State Customs Committee, the Interior Ministry, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) under the U.S. Department of Justice. According to the American side, today marked the first step in this direction. In the future Belarus and the United States will jointly fight drug-related crimes, conduct trainings and other events.
