Belarus to present results of stress tests on Nuclear Power Plant to European Commission

The first power generating unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant is being prepared for the installation of the reactor vessel, which arrived in Ostrovets at the end of last year. Entrance equipment control was conducted, no faults were found. The results of the stress tests are already known. The tests were to emulate extreme impacts and check NPP’s adaptation to emergency situations. According to this information, a national report, which will be presented to the European Commission and the public, is being prepared.
