Belarus to phase out plastic in catering

Belarus will reduce the use of plastic in catering. The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade analyzes the market, evaluates the ability of domestic enterprises to replace dishes and appliances with eco-friendly paper or cane. A phased reduction in the use of plastic packaging in Belarus and the transition to paper and glass are put down in the 7th Directive of the President. Now in stores and cafes, paper bags and disposable tableware are offered to customers on par with plastic packaging.
