Belarus to join «Biblionight» international action

Belarus joins the international action «Biblionight», which is held today with the aim of popularizing reading. Only in the capital eight institutions will offer an insomnia night surrounded by valuable publications. The guests will be offered lectures, exhibitions, workshops, excursions and shows. In the Belarusian State University the participants will be able to read a "living book" and meet with a "black librarian". The Academy of Sciences will host gentry battle. By the way, Belarus is one of the most reading countries in the CIS. There are 334 users of public libraries per 1,000 inhabitants.
