Belarus to introduce criminal responsibility for doping

Belarus plans to introduce criminal responsibility for coercing athletes into using doping. Today the relevant amendments to the Criminal Code were approved by the House of Representatives in the first reading. The deputies consider the document especially important on the eve of the 2nd European Games, when such legislative initiatives can boost the country's image. Also, today Belarusian MPs supported the bill on labor protection and changes to the Marriage and Family Code.
