Belarus to increase the volume of capital repairs of housing in 2020

Next year, Belarus will increase the volume of capital repairs of housing, it will make up to three percent of the total housing stock. There are 247 apartment buildings of the kind in Minsk. The schedule of the repairs has been set taking into account their age. The work will be followed by the reconstruction of courtyards. Most of the housing stock was built before the mid 1990s and does not meet the requirements for energy efficiency. A presidential decree that has recently entered force is meant to change the situation for the better. The thermal modernization will be carried out along with the capital repairs, the state will cover half of the costs.
