Belarus to adopt Law on Personal Data

Minsk is hosting an international conference to discuss legal and information aspects of ensuring national and regional security with experts from Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan participating. Within the next 2 years, Belarus is to adopt "The Law on Personal Data" protecting the interests of both average citizens and national security. The document will make it possible to systematize previously separate regulations on the use of personal data.
