A modern agro-town will be set up in Russia's Sakhalin oblast with the participation of Belarus. The project will include agricultural infrastructure objects as well as housing for workers. Currently, installation of columns has completed at Karsakovski state-owned farm in Razdolnoye village and work has begun on the walls of the future dairy farm. As it is planned, it will produce up to 8000 tons of milk per year. Also under construction are 50 comfortable houses, some of them being built using Belarusian designs.
