Belarus suggests hosting WIPO diplomatic conference

A diplomatic conference of the World Intellectual Property Organization may be held in Minsk in 2020. The proposal from the Belarusian side was voiced at a meeting of the Assemblies of the Organization’s member states in Geneva. Minsk has repeatedly hosted various major international forums at a high level, while citizens of more than 70 countries can entry the country and stay for up to 30 days without a visa. 6 specialized laws are currently in force in Belarus with respect to all intellectual property.
