An IAEA mission completed its work in Belarus. The international experts noted Belarus' high level of emergency response readiness to accidents at the atomic power plant. Moreover, several practices used by Belarusian rescue workers will be introduced in other countries. Along with it, Belarus was registered in the IAEA Response and Assistance network. The main aim of the organization is international cooperation in case of nuclear or radiological accidents both by experts and equipment and consultations. The structure unites 31 countries, including China, France, Japan, Russia, USA, and Ukraine.
