Belarus President to partake in Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit

Belarus President’s two-day working visit to Kazakhstan has begun. Alexander Lukashenko will take part in the session of the Council of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. In his speech at the summit the head of state will voice the position of the Belarusian side regarding the further development of the organization, including its economic dimension. Alexander Lukashenko will also take part in the opening ceremony of the international specialized Expo 2017 in Astana. The Belarusian stand will be displayed there. Besides, the Belarusian leader is expected to have a bilateral meeting with Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
