The girl went to the front in 1941, immediately after graduation. As part of the medical battalion of the 199th Infantry Division, she participated in the liberation of Belarus, Poland and the Berlin offensive. She donated blood 35 times as a donor for patients. Paramedic Maria Garachuk became one of six Belarusian nurses awarded the Florence Nightingale Medal. The project was dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman. The art object is scheduled to open on 2 July
