The second day of the official visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Georgia began with the laying of wreaths at the memorial to the heroes who fell for the unity of Georgia. After the ceremony, the President met with Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilya II. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the Patriarch's position contributes to the development of Belarusian-Georgian relations and thanked for the possibility of regular exchange of views. Issues of trade and economic cooperation were discussed at the meeting of the Belarusian leader with the Prime Minister of Georgia. The main emphasis in the development of cooperation proposed by the Belarusian leader is the training of qualified personnel for joint economy.
