Belarus President heard out a report by the Customs Committee head

The situation at the border and counteracting the importation of sanctioned products into the territory of Russia. This was discussed at the meeting of Belarus President with the head of the Customs Committee. Yuri Senko reported that modernization of the national customs is underway. The committee transferred about $2.3 billion to the state budget in H1 2018, some 27% over H1 2017. Yuri Senko also informed the Head of the State of the efforts of the Belarusian Customs Committee on stopping the banned goods from entering the neighboring state. Since the introduction of economic sanctions, the Belarusian customs service detected 2.000 administrative offenses, 30 criminal cases were brought.
