Belarus President heard a report on the demographic situation and the promotion of employment

Population increase is a priority for Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko said as he listened to the report on the demographic situation and the promotion of employment. In H1 Belarus’ population decreased by more than 9,000 from the beginning of the year. Birth rate has fallen by 13% from the same period of the previous year. Also the employment issues were discussed. The President set a task to submit an updated decree number three, "On the prevention of social dependency" by October 1. Its implementation will fall within the competence of local authorities. A number of documents will be prepared, including on the development of the entrepreneurial initiative and the facilitation of the doing business conditions.
