Belarus President approves country's information security concept

The day before, the concept of the country's information security was approved by the President of Belarus. This document reflects the current challenges and threats in the information sphere (from manipulating the mass consciousness and discrediting of values to erosion of national sovereignty). All of these present risks for the state. The strategy takes into account the best international practices in the protection of information space. The draft concept was discussed last week at a meeting of the Security Council of Belarus. The document was developed on an assignment of the Head of State. All comments and suggestions have been reflected in the new document.
