The President appointed Anatoly Isachenko governor of the Minsk region. Previously he was employed as an assistant to the President of Belarus, inspector for the Minsk region. The head of state noted that Anatoly Isachenko has the relevant expertise and the necessary experience. The President also stated the need for a more extensive and frequent staff turnover. Tomorrow, Anatoly Isachenko's nomination will be put up for approval at the session of the Minsk Regional Council of Deputies. The most important role in the economy of the Minsk region is played by food products and mechanical engineering. In addition, it is on the territory of this region that an investment project of national scale and significance is being carried out, namely the development of the Great Stone Chinese-Belarusian industrial park.
