The day before President of Belarus took some personnel decisions. Alexander Lukashenko appointed Sergei Doroshko head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee. He previously headed the Department of Corrections at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The appointment was supported by the former head of the capital city police force Alexander Barsukov, now Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. The President emphasized that current level of security in Minsk is good, and so it should be in the future. Also, Vladislav Budik was appointed the new chief of the 72 army apprentices training center in Pechi.
