MFA plans to expand Belarus’ presence in the UNESCO heritage list. Today, the Belarusian Bialowieza Forest, Mir Castle, Nesvizh palace and park complex, Struve Geodetic Arc and traditional ritual "Tsary" are on the list. It is proposed to add to the list one more candidate, which is not named. This issue will be on the agenda of the meeting of the National Commission for UNESCO, which will be held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. It is also planned to discuss the priorities of the Commission's thematic committees in the context of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of Belarusian book printing.
