Belarus marks Constitution Day

Today Belarus marks Constitution Day. The Basic Law of the sovereign state that guarantees the rights and freedoms of Belarusian citizens was adopted on March 15, 1994. President Alexander Lukashenko has sent his greetings to Belarusian people. “The Fundamental Law has determined the principles of the sovereignty of the country, has become the core of the entire legal system and a strong foundation for building a social state,” the message of greetings reads. Traditionally, these days the action "We are citizens of Belarus" runs in the country. Excellent students, high achievers in sports and public life receive passports from heads of state bodies.
