Belarus is the leader in the post-Soviet space in terms of information and communications technology development, according to a report by the International Telecommunication Union. Belarus holds the 31st place among 175 countries, having improved 5 places compared to last year. Russia and Ukraine occupy the 43rd and 76th places respectively, the Republic of Korea being the leader for the second consecutive year.According to experts, 95% of the world population is already covered by a mobile cellular signal, with more than 47% connected to the Internet.
