Belarus latest population census figures released

Belarus’ population makes up slightly more than 9.4 million people. This was one of the figures from the latest population census. The growth of population has been indicated only in Minsk and the Minsk region. Minsk is home to over 2 million people. Women make up 54% of the population of Belarus. The data concerning the socio-demographic characteristics of the population will be published in September 2020. 95% of the citizens of the republic took part in the census 2019, 22% of them did it online.
