Belarus is set to open a technology transfer center in Egypt, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov told reporters ahead of the opening ceremony of the joint Belarusian-Egyptian seminar on cooperation in science and technology. “Today we are hosting a large delegation of Egyptian scientists. We have already had preliminary talks with the president of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and identified a range of potential cooperation areas and projects. They show special interest in unmanned aerial vehicles, biotechnologies and agricultural equipment,” Vladimir Gusakov noted.
