Belarus in power of snow cyclone "Lars"

These days Belarus is at the mercy of the snow cyclone "Lars". The main blow of the cyclone fell on the Brest, Grodno and Gomel regions. Over the past day, power engineers have restored power supply to 1800 settlements. Snowstorms will continue today. Forecasters have announced an orange level of danger. The wind is expected to increase up to 23 meters per second. Utilities and snow removal equipment worked in an enhanced mode all night long.
