Belarusian and Russian geneticists will join forces in forensics. The scientists plan to study DNA - the results of these studies will help law enforcement agencies in searching for criminals and missing persons. In addition, the joint research results are intended for medical professionals. A special Union State programme is currently undergoing the last stages of finalisation and approval.Over the past 10 years, the Russian and Belarusian scientists have jointly implemented about 2,000 projects. Plans for next year include projects in nano- and biotechnologies, the pharmaceuticals industry and agriculture.
