Belarus and EU representatives are scheduled to sign a declaration on establishing a mobility partnership today in Luxembourg. The document is expected to lay the foundation for further Belarus-EU cooperation in the migration sphere. Belarus" stance will be represented by Interior Minister Igor Shunevich. The official draft agreement on readmission was prepared by the Ministry and European Commission experts within several months. One of the main reasons for signing the document is an increase in the number of illegal attempts to get to Europe through Belarus.
