The 31st International Space Congress continues its work in the capital of Belarus. The large-scale forum officially opened the day before, with the Head of State taking part in the ceremony. The Congress gathered legendary cosmonauts and astronauts from 18 countries, foreign guests, diplomats, Belarusian scientists and engineers. Now there are about 90 space powers in the world, and Belarus is one of them. Today, delegates of the congress will pay tribute to the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War, lay flowers to the monument in the Victory Square. The plans include visiting the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences, universities and schools.
