Belarus has the lowest infant mortality rate in the CIS. We are ahead of many developed countries, including Great Britain, Denmark and the USA. Such data was provided by Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko during a meeting of the National Commission on the Rights of the Child. The results of the five-year plan have been summed up, it has been analyzed how much it has been possible to improve the conditions for the life and development of children, and issues have been identified that still have to be worked on.
