Belarus gradually abandoning plastic

Belarus is gradually abandoning plastic. This will have a positive impact on the environment. Since January 1, a wide range of disposable plastic tableware has been banned in cafes and restaurants. And these are sticks for stirring drinks, glasses, cups, plates, straws for drinks and cutlery. They will be replaced with more environmentally friendly ones. By the way, in Belarus, polymer waste is 280 thousand tons per year. It means, there is about 25 kilograms per person. It is planned to finally abandon plastic in the country by 2023.
