Belarus placed first among 15 countries in the annual national costumes competition in Beijing. The country was represented by a team of Belarusian youths studying in Beijing together with the diplomats of the embassy. The Belarusians showed national traditions, dance and artistic skills and won the hearts of the viewers and high marks from the jury. The event was held in China for the eighth time. Belarus placed second last year.
