Today Belarus marks the Day of the fire service. It was established 166 years ago. Belarusian rescuers not only fight the fire, but do the full range of rescue work. To be ready for anything, units in all regions constantly conduct tactical exercises. For example, at the base in Zaslavl, the Minsk regional fire service employees showed excellent performance in extinguishing fires and obstacle course training. The Belarusian Emergency Ministry is among the best in the fire-rescue sport. In September, ten rescuers will take part in the World Championships in Russia’s Saratov.
