Belarus extremely popular tourist destination for Russians

Almost one and a half million Russians visited Belarus over the past year. The popularity of Belarus as a tourist destination among our eastern neighbors is growing. They show interest not only in history-related tours, but also in family recreation at country guest houses and treatment at health spas. Tours across the country are popular, too. Brest region offers recreation opportunities in Beloweza Forest National Park, Grodno invites tourists to guided tours of Mir Castle, and in Gomel one can book a trip across the so-called Golden Ring, an experience that takes tourists on a journey through several centuries.
