Belarus - EU: cooperation in regional development

President A.Lukashenko noted Belarus' interest to cooperate with the EU in the issues of regional development. The Head of state declared this the day before at a meeting with Chairperson of the European Committee of the regions Markku Markkula. Mr.Lukashenko underlined, Belarus is a reliable and consistent partner for all of those who cares about harmonious development of provinces. The European Committee of the regions is ready to share with Belarus is advanced experience and modern solutions in the area of regional development and local government. Markku Markkula also highly appraised activity and contribution of Belarus into the development of the Eastern Partnership initiative.
