Belarus' central New Year tree among 5 highest in CIS

The central New Year tree of Belarus has found itself among the top 5 of the highest ones in the CIS. The rating was compiled by TurStat portal. It is headed by Turkmenistan with a 40 meters high tree, Armenia and Uzbekistan follow. Minsk's New Year tree, installed in Oktiabrskaya Square, is 30 meters high and takes the 5th place. Among the main New Year trees of the CIS countries, only the one in Moscow's Sobornaya Square is live.
